Training Events and Retreats

One aspect of life-giving leaders is being connected with others. We have several options for training and/or retreats for those who serve in EFCA Central Churches. Every April, we host the annual EFCA Central Leadership Conference.  This conference brings in quality speakers, who both encourage and challenge us from the Word as well as provide training during multiple workshop sessions. We highly encourage every church to send at least one representative to connect and build healthy relationships with other leaders.

In addition, each Fall we offer two different Pastors & Wives Retreats, one in Iowa and one in Missouri. These retreats are designed to be a place of rest and encouragement for those serving in full-time ministry. Featuring guest speakers and lots of opportunities to connect with other couples in ministry, this is a highlight for many couples.

Every Winter, we also host Leadership Summits for senior/lead pastors. These retreats have been called some of the most valuable equipping events of their year by many pastors.
