Arkansas Serving Trip
The EFCA Central District Crisis Response team is organizing multiple teams of up to 25 people to travel to Ravenden Springs, AR in late April through June 2026 to help clean up downed trees and debris at a 120-acre Bible camp that was damaged by two tornadoes in 2024 and 2025. These trips may also involve some construction repairs and electrical work.
This opportunity allows us to come alongside an EFCA church in both service and ministry, helping restore their camp to full operation. As we work together, we’ll also take time to grow in our understanding of the unique ministry opportunities that emerge in the wake of crisis. Through shared service, we’ll continue to strengthen and unify our Central District team for future response efforts.
Serving roles include:
- Raking and picking up sticks and limbs
- Cooking meals for teams
- Cutting fallen trees with chainsaws
- Operating a skid steer or small tractor
- Running a small sawmill to cut large trees into boards
