Ethnic populations may not always be as obvious in the Midwest. However, there are many ethnic groups within the Central District. Our District has African-American churches in St. Louis; a Chinese church in Ames, IA and a Chinese church in Des Moines; Hispanic congregations in Des Moines, Iowa Falls and Alta, IA; and international church in Columbia, MO; and more ethnic groups are being revealed to us on a regular basis.
