Richard Schumacher, Regional Associate Superintendent and Church Planting Missionary EFCA Central District - Southern Region (Missouri/Arkansas)
God has blessed the Missouri/Arkansas church planting and growth initiatives of recent decades and there are now about 40 congregations meeting regularly in the two states and ranging in size from dozens to thousands of participants. Yet statistics show that hundreds of thousands of individuals are unchurched and the need to plant new churches to meet this need is great. If you would like to join in a movement of churches passionate about planting churches please contact me. Familiarize yourself with the EFCA mission, doctrine and distinctives at www.efca.org. Join me in praying for open doors of opportunity to plant churches in Missouri and Arkansas.

Richard and Pam enjoy being involved their home church of the past 20 years, First Evangelical Free Church of St. Louis County whenever their ministry schedule allows. They enjoy counseling and mentoring church planters and missionary candidates and travel frequently to minister in church plants, district churches or overseas church planting works, particularly in Russia and Germany.
Personal Support Needs The church planting ministry I am undertaking is supported entirely by individuals and churches which pray and give regular or one-time financial support. While I am praying for 100 partners who will both pray and contribute $75 per month on average for personal support or church planting expenses, gifts of any amount can be used to advance the ministry of church planting. Giving is tax deductible and used in Missouri and Arkansas for salary, benefits and the direct expenses of church planting. In the few months since my appointment, God has raised up a number of supporters and the current need is for more prayer partners and additional financial support totaling $1,800 per month. Gifts can be mailed to EFCA Central District, P.O. Box 607, Boone, IA 50036. Online giving is available at http://www.cd.efca.org/donations/index.html. |
